decided to update things...
emini today, very quite, range was only around 8pts, nearly half of what is expected...... look for fireworks again soon...... all pressure was to the downside today but we did make a new high of 1444.........
no real indiciation the upmove is over....... expect a drift lower to 1435, then back again to the upside...... if we trade much lower than 1435, expect a continuation to 1427........
for me this market is more for setup trades........
april hogs....... market remained strong...........higher highs and lows today.. good looking long posistion that i entered into the other day...... just proves that my initial assessment of this market was correct..
beans........... were led much higher friday due to corn..... saw the short lived spike come to an end today with the market trading lower..... the gap from 681-695 will now be the short term driving force....... focus on that gap, if filled we may have a near term top in, at 724...... if the gap doesnt get filled, then we proceed to make new highs, we may have a really big move on our hands..........
april cattle....... another of my markets........... looking to enter on the buy side tomorrow --- with a limit order of 9365....... expecting the low to be around 93.55........ if we are filled, ill have a tight stop of 9280 in place..
mar sugar....... traded as low as 10.69 today, our short posistion was cashed out at 10.99.... with the bounce off that low...... made a small profit on this one but hey, it was a profit............ not going to be a buyer in this market, as the overall trend is still lower,,,,,,,, but im fully expecting a slight bounce now............ another sell should set up soon...........
what we want to do is:
trade with the trend,,,,,,,, buying uptrending markets on dips and selling down trending markets on rallys.......... sound simple but its not.. we must then time our entrys.......... i look for new highs or lows to be made and then enter on pullback, using older highs and lows for our stoplosses....... sounds simple enough.......... once we enter, the stops and the moving of the stops is almost always mechanical.........
